    NORTHFIELD, Vt. — At the beginning of the school year, gay pride events at a military academy with titles like “condom Olympics” and “queer prom” would have been unthinkable. This week, they’re a reality.

    Cadets in uniform at Norwich University, the nation’s oldest private military academy, participated Monday in sessions about handling bullying and harassment as part of the school’s first gay pride week. The events are believed to be the first of their kind on a military campus.

    Just over six months after the end of the “don’t ask, don’t tell” rule that prohibited gays and lesbians from serving openly in the armed forces, it’s a different — and less secretive — world.

    held at a different time of year from many other gay pride events, which usually are observed in June or October — include discussions of HIV testing; the “condom Olympics,” in which prophylactics are given as prizes; and a dance at which same-sex partners are welcome.

  • NOM’s “Master Plan” exposed: Turn Blacks & Latino’s against Gays, in order to win marriage fight…

    I have said this a million times on this blog: NOM’s Bryan Brown and Maggie Gallagher are two of the most vulgar, disgusting, vile lowlives in this world. The depths of their hatred toward gay people is really quite frankly amazing. 

    The HRC has gotten a hold of internal NOM documents that were released in Maine, that expose their strategy in the fight to save “Traditional Marriage”. And although it is not surprising, it is factual proof that NOM’s goal was to pit the black and Latino communities against gays in order to win. The documents were revealed from an ongoing investigation by the State of Maine which was launched to find out NOM’s financial activities in the state. 

    the documents are stamped “confidential” and were part of their 2008-09 manifesto sent  to their board of directors. The report says the following:

    “The strategic goal of this project is to drive a wedge between gays and blacks—two key Democratic constituencies. Find, equip, energize and connect African American spokespeople for marriage, develop a media campaign around their objections to gay marriage as a civil right; provoke the gay marriage base into responding by denouncing these spokesmen and women as bigots…”

    And.

    “The Latino vote in America is a key swing vote, and will be so even more so in the future, both because of demographic growth and inherent uncertainty: Will the process of assimilation to the dominant Anglo culture lead Hispanics to abandon traditional family values? We must interrupt this process of assimilation by making support for marriage a key badge of Latino identity – a symbol of resistance to inappropriate assimilation.”

    On PDF page 12, it talks about “sideswiping Obama,” painting him as a “social radical” and talking about “side issues” like pornography.

    You can read it all at the link below. But i must ad, it is long overdue that the government should shut these scumbags down. Because this does not fall under “freedom of speech” this falls under crimes against humanity…

    Roberston: “That type of conduct is wrong and it is time that in society we say certain things are wrong,” Robertson said. “He’s obsessed, he has a compulsion,” he added. “I think it is somehow related to demonic possession.”

    Note to the “converted” gay man. The only person your kidding is yourself. And what planet is your wife on?

  • The Weinstein’s win! ‘Bully’ gets unrated rating…

    This is good news. Now at least all kids can see it and they need too.

    Bully, the controversial documentary that was handcuffed with an R rating by the MPAA, will be released in theaters as an unrated film, The Weinstein Company announced today. “The small amount of language in the film that’s responsible for the R rating is there because it’s real,” said director Lee Hirsch. “It’s what the children who are victims of bullying face on most days. All of our supporters see that, and we’re grateful for the support we’ve received across the board. I know the kids will come, so it’s up to the theaters to let them in.”

    TWC had mounted an aggressive effort to persuade the MPAA to reverse its initial ratings verdict. Nearly half a million people signed a petition from Katy Butler, Michigan high school student and former bullying victim, on Change.org to urge the MPAA to lower the rating

    Turkish men are required to spend time in the military, but the government, which still considers homosexuality a mental disorder, does not want active-duty gays. The BBC has a magazine piece this weekend that documents some of the bizarre and humiliating requirements for gay Turks looking to win their “pink certificate” in order to be excused from mandatory military service.

    As a gay man he was also afraid of being bullied, and after little more than a week he plucked up the courage to declare his sexual orientation to his commander.

    ”They asked me if I had any photographs.” Gokhan says, ”And I did.”

    He had gone prepared with explicit photographs of himself having sex with another man, having heard that it would be impossible to get out of military service without them.

    ”The face must be visible,” says Gokhan. ”And the photos must show you as the passive partner.”

    The photographs satisfied the military doctors. Gokhan was handed his pink certificate and exempted from military service. But it was a terrible experience, he says,

    ”And it’s still terrible. Because somebody holds those photographs. They can show them at my village, to my parents, my relatives.”

  • Atlantis Gay Cruise Ship couple Arrested in Dominica deny that they were having sex…

    Retired police officer Dennis Jay Mayer and his partner John Robert Hart, claim that they were not having sex on balcony deck of their room on the Atlantic Cruise ship In which they were arrested.

    Mayer “The total experience was horrendous,” he said. “They told us that they did not like us, that they did not like gay people.”

    The ship was docked in at Dominica which is in the Caribbean and known for their extreme homophobic laws. “buggery”  which means gay sex is illegal and punishable up to 10 years in prison. When someone from a dock “claimed” that the two were having sex on their balcony. 

    Mayer and Hart were called out of their room by the captain.

    Three cruise ship officials and six Dominica police officers were waiting for them. After police interviewed both men separately, the assistant captain spoke:  “At this time, we are going to eject you from the ship. We have zero tolerance toward your behavior,” Mayer recalled him saying. And Atlantis Cruises then turned the two men over to the Dominica police.

     After being arrested and taken to the police station for interrogation they were told the following:

    ’You’re being arrested for being gay. We’re arresting you for the crime of buggery,’” Mayer said. and added that other people said that we were engaging in homosexual sex and repeated that several times. I told him “I didn’t know why they would say that. I wasn’t doing that.” Mayer said he was naked in his cabin and nearly naked on the balcony. “

    Police even threatened that they would medically examined to prove that they had gay sex.  “He said, you know, we’re looking for specific things, fluids, bruising, things of that nature,”  then the official later said that they had a right to refuse the exam.

    They claim that their treatment was in humane and i believe it. The charges of buggery were dropped and they were only charged with indicent exposure. They had to pay a fine and when police took them to an atm to withdraw the money crowds of people, anti-gay animals, pounded on the police cars and shouted angrily at the couple.

    I do not condone bad behavior, however in this case it seems that Mayer is telling the truth, that he and hart were not having sex as police claim by the sheer fact that the charges were dropped. I think that Atlantis Cruise line should be held accountable for failing to protect their passengers by taking them in to places that out law homosexuality and at a minimum should reimburse Mayer and Hart all financial costs the incurred. Rich Campbell, the president of Atlantis  West Hollywood branch, in his statement blamed the the couple for what happened to them,  should be fired and Atlantis  boycotted. 

    And might i ad this little nugget. To Campbell, do not tell me in all your years of “gaying” around the world, you have not walked around your room naked, sunbathed nude or do i dare say,  even have been a touch wild “when in Rome”. They way you blamed these two customers and not to mention fellow gays and left them out to dry was disgusting…Shame on you…
