WATCH: Elisabeth Hasselbeck Trashes Rosie O’Donnels View Return, Rosie Responds.

~~Public access host~~ Elisabeth Hasselbeck, decided to take the low and bitter road when asked about Rosie returning to the View.

If you believe the ~~truth~~ rumors and set sources that Hasselbeck was fired from the View, and basically demoted to public access tv by joining Fox & Friends on the Fox News Channel, one could see why EH responded with a bitterly pathetic rant about Rosie rejoining and claims that it has been in the works far longer than anyone knows. She opened by telling her Fox & Friends cohorts, “What could ruin a vacation more than to hear news like this?”

O’Donnell, Hasselbeck said, is “the very woman who spit in the face of our military, spit in the face of her own network, and really in the face of a person who stood by her and had civilized debates for the time that she was there.” She also said she believed O’Donnell’s return to The View “had been in the works for a long time.” When asked why she believed that, Hasslebeck laid out her rationale based on her encounter with O’Donnell at Barbara Walters’s farewell episode on The View, which featured guest appearances by the show’s former cohosts.

“OK, so let me go back to the reunion show for Barbara,” Hasselbeck said. “How odd is this? When you have the woman who … insinuated that our own troops were terrorists in Iraq at the time, then left the show, meanwhile, while still at the end of her contract, to have such ease the day of Barbara’s goodbye show was shocking to me. “She walked around with a lot of control, and then when I had the chance to talk to her, Rosie herself told me …that she produced the reunion show to have everybody together and that it was her idea. Now, would you think that the woman who left the way that she did would be producing Barbara’s goodbye show? Now, here’s the shocker: It was actually her hello show.”

Tin Lizzy called into her own show while on vacation to voice her obvious (and envious) bitterness?? Gurrrrrl, get a a life.

Rosie of course responded. but with a well suited and classy response.
