Jim Darby and Patrick Bova, the lead plaintiffs in a lawsuit seeking marriage for all same-sex couples in Illinois, were finally able to exchange vows on Monday (2 June). Darby, 82, and Bova, 76. have been a couple for 51 years.

Congrats!!! So touching, yet so infuriating that ignorance and discrimination made their journey take so long. And for what??
