We knew this wouldn’t take long. Three Dutch tourist have been arrested under the new Russian anti-gay propaganda law for promoting homosexuality.
One of those arrested is Kris van der Veen, a councillor for the left-wing green party GroenLinks in Groningen. He is also chairman of the foundation KGBT Groningen, which campaigns for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender rights.
It is believed Van der Veen and two others were making a documentary about gay rights in Russia and had been asking children about their views.
The three have been released pending their court appearance and Van der Veen used Twitter to say they are being helped by the Dutch consulate.
If convicted of the law, the three people could be heavily fined, held for up to 14 days in Russian prison and then deported back to the Netherlands.
Scumbag spy murderer President Vladimir Putin Punany signed the law into effect last month.
Next years Olympics should be yanked from the country. We have more than enough places in the U.S. already setup to hold the games and lets face it, put a few gay’s in charge of the event planing and they could have this thing ready to go in a week.
