New Website: ‘Mitt Gets Worse’ The more we know the worst it gets…Spread the word.

Except of course if you are GOProud dictator Jimmy LaSalvia, who probably has his panties wedged up his pie hole over this new website. The Courage Campaign & American Bridge 21st Century have teamed up and created in order give a history of Mitt Romney’s anti-gay history.

The idea stems from Romney’s changing positions on LGBT rights. In 1994, while campaigning against then-Senator Ted Kennedy, Romney said that he would be better for gay rights than Kennedy, a longtime ally and proponent of LGBT equality. And in 2002, Romney and his gubernatorial running mate Kerry Healy lobbied for LGBT supporters, and was endorsed by the Log Cabin Republicans. However, the Courage Campaign’s project mentions how “Mitt got worse, radically changing his positions.”

From the website:

The Mitt Gets Worse project is an oral history of Mitt Romney’s efforts to diminish the rights and the freedoms of LGBT Americans, told by the brave people who have fought back against Mitt’s anti-equality agenda.

When Mitt Romney ran for the US Senate in 1994, he claimed he would be better on LGBT rights than Ted Kennedy. Today, Mitt is one of the most outspoken enemies of the LGBT community, and he’s campaigning for president on an extreme and inhumane platform.

There’s more to the presidency than gay rights — and alas, both candidates suck on everything.
