Orlando Sentinel photographer Jacob Langston was out in the waters of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, making a video of a surfer when another surfer exclaimed, "Dude! Did you see that?!"

Langston's focus was on his subject in the foreground of his camera -- so he didn't initially see the four-foot spinner shark jumping over another surfer in the water. Until he view the video later.

After same-sex marriage passed in New York last night, I couldn't wait to hear the responses from Brian "bottom" brown and Maggie "saggy ass" Gallagher. There is no greater pleasure in the gay rights movement than watching those two lose with shit all over their face. Even greater, New York does not have an initiative process, which basically means they can't bring it to the people for a vote.

It's coming down to the wire now...

Yesterday I posted about the awful tragedy that happened on June 24, 1973 were 32 gay men were burned to death in a fire at a gay bar in New Orleans called the Upstairs Lounge, which was caused by arson. But the real tragedy did not stop there. Newspapers would not acknowledge the fact that it was a gay bar and literally quoted people saying the most heinous things such as "I hope the fire burn their dresses off" and "what were they bury the ashes of queers and? Fruit jars." Disgusting.


To top it all off four victims bodies were never claimed or identified. Reasons for this is that families were too embarrassed to acknowledge that it was their family member. This was 1973 and unfortunately I believe that that was probably the most likely reason because families were disowning Gay family members at alarming rates at that time.


No one was ever charged with the fire. However a hustler named Roger Nunez apparently had been kicked out of the bar earlier that day for getting into a tiff with another hustler. People claim that Nunez came back later and doused the wooden stairs up to the bar and set them on fire. Apparently while the police were questioning him he faked some sort of illness, they took him to the hospital where Nunez then disappeared and the cops never pursued him. Wow! 


About a year later after Nunez killed himself, a friend of his told the police that Nunez confessed that he had started the fire.

The anti-gay hate group the Florida Family Association has waged a war against the the teen show Degrassi: the next generation because it features pro LGBT characters and story lines... Get a life you effin losers.
For the past year, members of the FFA have monitored every episode of Degrassi, the award-winning high school drama that tackles issues ranging from date rape to abortion, noting every product promoted during commercial breaks. They then schedule email blasts asking those advertisers to boycott Teen Nick and MTV, which also syndicates the show, for airing what they described in the email as “salacious and irresponsible propaganda.” The email also asked advertisers, “Will your company continue to advertise on this irresponsible show?”

Degrassi, which first aired in 1979, is known for portraying controversial issues. Over the course of its 30-year run (which has included several hiatuses and cast changes), it has covered teen pregnancy, school shootings, cutting, homosexuality and gonnorrhea outbreaks, to name a few. The show didn’t come to FFA founder David Canton’s attention, however, until last year, when it introduced a storyline about a gay quarterback and one about a female-to-male transgender teen exploring his identity and first relationship.

Canton told The Huffington Post that the LGBT content “licentiously appealed to the prurient nature of teenagers,” saying he believed that the scenarios also promoted behavior that doesn’t naturally occur in high school settings.

“How many high schools have a gay first-string quarterback who becomes lovers with someone else on the team? This relationship is extremely unlikely and they shouldn’t open this to dialogue,” Canton -- once applauded by American Family Association president Don Wildmon as the "quarterback" of the pro-family movement -- said. “And I think that it is statistically improbable that you will have a female-to-male transgender who is in love with a lesbian or bisexual in a school setting.” deets here

San Francisco District Attorney George Gascón said Thursday he intends to refile felony hate crime charges that a judge dismissed against two men accused of attacking and robbing a transgender woman.

Gascón said San Francisco Superior Court Judge Bruce Chan's decision to order the two defendants to stand trial for civil rights, assault and robbery charges did not go far enough.

I have always been pretty health-conscious, I have worked out and exercised for years. My diet has always been I'd say in the medium-range. I have always had a good metabolism and do cardio on a regular basis. But over the last few months I wanted to get the diet more in check. More fruits, vegetables and protein. I suffer from hypoglycemia but I have to say since I have changed my diet I have not had one issue with that. I also did have one addiction that was hard to kick. I was addicted to Coke and I don't mean the white kind! There is nothing like an ice cold Coca-Cola in a bottle or with crushed ice. Mmmmm. But at the same time is there anything worse? Now I'm not talking about having a Coke once in a while. That's fine. But when you're going through a sixpack a day, there's an issue. Thankfully I was able to kick that addiction almost a year ago. However I did find a solution, Minute Maid light lemonade. 5 cal. 0 sugar. Love it. 


Now let me just be clear although I have changed my diet I'm certainly not going to do without stuff I like, such as pizza or burgers. I just don't eat them as regularly and I eat them earlier in the day rather than later. Also I have replaced burger patties with Turkey or veggie patties. Anyway the reason for this tangent is that my friend BV sent me this link to this new movie Forks over Knives which is about diabetes and poor food choices that affect our health. How creepy is this, there are 200 bodies along the trail going up Mount Everest. They are obviously the bodies of people who have died during the journey. Climbers use the bodies locations as trail markers. Some of the bodies have been there dating back to 1924. Helicopters cannot get in to the area to retrieve them because it is too dangerous. How weird! You can see the trail of bodies if you're inclined to here.

As he approached the 29,000-foot peak of Mt. Everest, climber Rodney Hogg discovered the frozen body of his old friend, Peter Kinloch — a 28-year-old from Scotland who died of frostbite and exhaustion scaling the same path just months before. He told The Mirror:

I just read this great article over at Queerty. I find it very sad to see a former gay youth activist and a magazine editor spiraled down into the belief of the ex-gay movement. I do not believe that you can turn off the gay. However I do believe a person in peril can fall victim to the lies of the so called reparative therapy/anti-gay Christian movement and the falseness of believing that you can be something other than what you innately are.

The question of what happened to raver, former XY editor, and gay youth activist, Mike Glatze (seen on the right with former BF) is semi-answered this weekend by Benoit Denizet-Lewis New York Times Magazine article, “What Happened to my Ex-Gay Friend?”

Traveling to Wyoming, Lewis finds the still cute (like a ski instructor) Glatze, clutching a Bible, and describing what happened in the process of his turn from queer raver to gay hater (“I don’t see people as gay anymore. I don’t see you as gay. I don’t see him as gay. God creates us heterosexual.”)

Now 36, Glatze reveals himself as a bundle of walking contradictions, starting with “speaking glowingly” about conservative harpie, Ann Coulter. Glatze left his long-time partner, joined the Mormon church (lured “by promises from several Mormon men that they would help him “find a wife”), and then left after deciding that Mormons “didn’t agree with the Bible”. He took up Buddhist meditation to stop getting boners when he looked at a guy but was asked to leave the community for “talking too much about the Bible.” One wonders whether he fits in anywhere.

(New York) Authorities say six New York City teenagers have been charged with murder as a hate crime in the beating and stomping of an 18-year-old perceived to be gay.Anthony Collao of Bethpage on Long Island was attacked in March while leaving a birthday party in Woodhaven, Queens.

Queens District Attorney Richard A. Brown said Thursday the defendants were each charged in a 21-count indictment that includes second-degree murder as a hate crime. Brown said the charges were upgraded after new evidence from witnesses.

Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said previously that the suspects made “homophobic remarks” and scrawled on a wall with red markers after crashing the party.

This is what I love about connecting with other gay people, you always learn something new. my friend Jim who has a great blog, thedailymush alerted me to this tragedy I had not heard of before. on June 24, 1973, 32 gay man were burned to death in a fire deliberately set in New Orleans.

And let us now remember that 32 gay men were burned to death in a firebombing at the Upstairs Lounge in New Orleans on June 24th, 1973. A bar which doubled as our church, for we were not welcome in any other. The massacre remains unsolved. And pretty much unremembered, for it was just a bunch of “queers” and no one gave a damn. And that’s just the way it was reported, the one or two articles which appeared in the local press at the time said, “queers.” The police investigation was all of a question or two, and no one saw a thing, they said, and then the police got back to their corrupt ways and raided a few more gay bars.

The smell of gasoline was reported to have been very strong. Several of the families wouldn’t even claim their own sons from the morgue. Only one preacher in the entire city would even say a word to the bereaved; he was chastised by his superiors for having done so. The cops left the burned body of one man hanging out of the window for far longer than decency for the dead would allow for another other sort of person. Not even covered up with a blanket or his eyes closed, so strong was, and in some quarters still is, the hate against us.

Yesterday I posted about this Southwest debacle. I said in the post that I believe the pilot should have been fired. This sends a very bad message that you will only get a slap on the wrist for promoting hate. 

TWU Local 556 president Thom McDaniel said Tuesday that the airline's management did not do enough to punish the pilot whose words were broadcast to several other pilots and air traffic control operators. He added that the union is consulting with attorneys to decide whether a complaint will be filed against Southwest to the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

"The official response from Southwest’s spokespeople and leaders has only added ‘insult to injury,'" McDaniel said in a statement. "Calling this broadcast a ‘private conversation’ cannot dismiss this incident. There is no place in our workplace for any conversation that demeans, insults and discriminates against other employees." deets here

Banton was found guilty of conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute cocaine, possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking offense and using a telephone to facilitate a drug trafficking offense. The Judge dropped the firearm conviction and sentenced the gay hater to 10 years in prison plus 5 years of probation.

"I'm surprised the health department has not come out against this because we are going to have an HIV epidemic if this passes," Trombley (R-Area 2, Ellenburg) said at Wednesday night's legislature meeting.

Trombley went on to say that even the animal world understands that same-sex relationships are not natural.

"You don't see two male dogs sleeping in the same dog house together," he said.

Homosexual men who take bicalutamide for prostate cancer reported more sexual problems during treatment than heterosexual patients, a new study has found.

Researchers from Romania and the U.S. studied 17 heterosexual and 12 homosexual men who were receiving 50 mg of the non-steroidal anti-androgen drug daily. The drugs stop the male hormones that stimulate the growth of cancer cells.The researchers discovered that homosexual men reported that their sexual performance and satisfaction more than halved in four of the six categories studied. Heterosexual men, on the other hand, reported fewer problems and were considerably more satisfied with intercourse.

"The results of our study suggest that androgens play a role in cerebral sexual processes such as libido, sexual arousal and orgasm and that this response may be different in heterosexual and homosexual men," said co-author Dr. David L Rowland from Valparaiso University in Indiana. "However, it is important that we do not underestimate the effect that androgens can have on heterosexual men just because the effect on homosexual men appears to be greater." deets here

But Reis says he's disheartened after a Kent printing company refused to print flyers promoting the new bar. Prime minister David Cameron is to host a reception at Downing Street for the gay community tomorrow evening.

New York state senate majority leader Dean Skelos said Wednesday that his conference and Gov. Andrew Cuomo have moved closer to agreement on exemptions for religious organizations, an issue standing in the way of a vote on the marriage equality bill. deets here

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid told reporters on Tuesday that Romney, in his words, "doesn't know who he is."

Reid points out that Romney supported gay marriage and abortion rights when he was governor of Massachusetts but now opposes them. He also credited Romney's health care overhaul in Massachusetts for being the model for the Democrats' national plan.

Chris Brown apparently escaped the parking ticket only to spew out and anti-gay slur.

I have been following this GLAAD & AT&T scandal pretty closely. However I just learned of another LGBT powerhouse organization, National Gay and Lesbian Task Force whom in a letter to the FCC, in a nutshell supported doing away with net neutrality in the name of promoting "LGBT equality, activism and social justice." What a crock of shit. It does not take a rocket scientist to understand that doing away with net neutrality in layman's terms means that the wealthier you are the better Internet service you can afford. Your website/blogs download speed or whether it can be accessed at all and Internet service speed would depend upon how much you are willing to pay. Net neutrality means everyone on the Internet has the same access regardless of what you can afford.


So the NGLTF originally sent a letter to the FCC against net neutrality. Then must have either gotten their asses handed to them or realized quickly that the shit was going to hit the fan. Here's how stupid they are. They know damn well that in order to reach the most amount of people to support "social justice and gay equality" is to have everyone be able to access the Internet equally. A tier system does the complete opposite. Really, how dumb do they think people are? Especially the gays!

Six board members of the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation have resigned amid the fallout over the organization's letter in support of AT&T’s proposed bid for wireless rival T-Mobile, a person familiar with the matter told POLITICO.

Some board members were said to have resigned because of concerns that GLAAD failed to adhere to its conflict of interest standards and to protest GLAAD's failure to protect its president, Jarrett Barrios, who submitted his letter of resignation to the group Saturday amid a growing backlash in the gay blogosphere over the group's AT&T stance.

Wow! This pilot has some serious issues. Apparently while this Southwest pilot was in Chicago he had issues with not being able to get laid and took it out on old grannies and "Over the top fucking ass fucking homosexuals". Then goes on to say he went to a bar with a granny and a fag and wish he had stayed home. The dumb ass had no clue that his microphone was on and that control towers and other planes could hear him. Personally I think is that should've been fired. They're just really is no excuse for this nonsense.

Now, I'm back in Houston, which is easily one of the ugliest bases. I mean, it's all these fucking old dudes and grannies and there's maybe a handful of cute chicks."

Radio talk show host and resident gay hater for the American Family Association Bryan anal Fischer slammed the recent Southern Baptist convention because he believes one of the leaders catered to the homosexual agenda.

Fischer criticized Southern Baptist Theological Seminary President Albert Mohler for urging convention messengers to “repent” of a “form of homophobia,” without explaining exactly what he meant.

“Evidently, according to Rev. Mohler, if you don’t believe gays are born that way, you’re either a homophobe or right next to it,” Fischer said. “He told the delegates at the SBC that homosexuality is ‘more than a choice,’ and that it apparently borders on something sinful to believe otherwise.” Fischer said he could see no way to understand the statement except that Mohler was urging Southern Baptists to “accept the bogus claim that homosexuality is innate and that people can be homosexual from birth.”

Darcey Humm may never father children after he was viciously beaten by three youths in an unprovoked attack, on a busy city road.

The 19-year-old believes his attackers could have been motivated by homophobia, even though he is heterosexual.

As the men beat him, Mr Humm said they shouted ''you're a faggot and you don't deserve mercy''.

He was wearing a pair of blue skinny jeans and a black t-shirt at the time.

The incident two weeks ago had left him, and his girlfriend of two years Alice Shine, paranoid he could be victim to another attack.

Worse, Mr Humm said doctors had told him he had only a 20 per cent chance of becoming a father due to the ferocity of the attack.

The rioting drag queens of the Stonewall Inn arrive only on page 210 of a 250-page book that argues gay people weren't merely present at every stage – they had a historical mission in America. It was to expose Puritanism, scolding and sexual intolerance.
