Santorum spits out his anti-gay marriage jiz at New Hampshire rally…

Look, i have no gag reflex…

Dick Santorum spoke before a crowd of about 3 dozen in a Holiday Inn (they are still around?) parking lot no less about over turning New Hampshire’s gay marriage law. It must have been standing room only. The trash talking event was part of the Family Research Council bus “tour”.  And of course Santorums circle jerk partner Tony Perkins was there to lend a hand. ;)

Republican presidential candidate and former Pennsylvania senator Rick Santorum also spoke at the rally. He told the roughly three dozen people gathered in the parking lot of the Holiday Inn that one-man, one-woman marriage is the glue that holds together the American family, and families form the nation’s foundation.

“Our country is not founded on the individual,” Santorum said. “It is founded on the basic unit of society, which is the family. You don’t want to found your society on individuals, because that’s like founding a house on grains of sand.”

If this hetero marriage thing is the only thing that holds the country together shouldn’t he be advocating for banning divorce instead of banning marriage for people who are not straight? And the country is not founded on “individuals”? Geez, I could have sworn rugged individualism is what this nation is about — and I don’t recall Thomas Jefferson being married either, when he wrote the founding document — the Declaration of Independence — nor can I find mention of marriage anywhere in it or the constitution, nor of family in any guise or form either. And no “families” signed the Declaration or the Constitution, but rather it seems to have been only individuals. What country is Santorum talking about? Meanwhile, three dozen people is all he could get? hahaha!
