A conservative Hispanic ministry in Miami plans to rally outside the local Univision affiliate on Saturday to protest the network’s airing of an interview with Ricky Martin in which he discusses his first sexual encounter with a man.

In an English translation of the call to action, the Oscar Aguero Ministry slams Univision for presenting Martin as a role model to “the children who watched the program at the child friendly hour of 7 to 8 pm.”

In the special, Ricky Martin ... Without Secrets, the singer discusses his earliest sexual encounters and the first time he fell in love with a man. Martin is also shown interacting with his twin sons.

Reads the translation: “Univision's complicity in transmitting this message deserves, on our side, our complaints before the FCC — the entity that regulates media in the Unites States — which says that any pornographic, indecent or obscene content can be reported as a complaint.”

The church also says Martin has long promoted the “homosexual agenda” at concerts by urging people to live “la vida loca.”

Three Iowa lawmakers are drafting legislation that could lead to the impeachment of the remaining state supreme court justices who ruled for marriage equality in 2009.

State representatives Tom Shaw, Glen Massie, and Kim Pearson, all freshmen politicians, are pushing for the removal of four judges. Their effort was bolstered by Republican speaker-elect of the state house, Kraig Paulson, who said he would not stand in the way of the effort. If successful, judges Mark Cady, David Wiggins, Daryl Hecht, and Brent Appel would be removed.

NORMAN, Okla. – The three bone fragments turned up on a deserted South Pacific island that lay along the course Amelia Earhart was following when she vanished. Nearby were several tantalizing artifacts: some old makeup, some glass bottles and shells that had been cut open.

Now scientists at the University of Oklahoma hope to extract DNA from the tiny bone chips in tests that could prove Earhart died as a castaway after failing in her 1937 quest to become the first woman to fly around the world.

"There's no guarantee," said Ric Gillespie, director of the International Group for Historic Aircraft Recovery, a group of aviation enthusiasts in Delaware that found the pieces of bone this year while on an expedition to Nikumaroro Island, about 1,800 miles south of Hawaii.

"You only have to say you have a bone that may be human and may be linked to Earhart and people get excited. But it is true that, if they can get DNA, and if they can match it to Amelia Earhart's DNA, that's pretty good."

It could be months before scientists know for sure — and it could turn out the bones are from a turtle. The fragments were found near a hollowed-out turtle shell that might have been used to collect rain water, but there were no other turtle parts nearby.

Earhart's disappearance on July 2, 1937, remains one of the 20th century's most enduring mysteries. Did she run out of fuel and crash at sea? Did her Lockheed Electra develop engine trouble? Did she spot the island from the sky and attempt to land on a nearby reef?

Reace Mcdonnell, 19, put the images on a “porn networking site”, the Plymouth Herald reports.

Mr Mcdonnell has not commented but posted on his Facebook profile yesterday: “I would like to remind people NOT to believe everything you read in the papers.

“I think its really quite pathetic that you should intringe on my life like this, not only at this pivotal stage, but atall, considering im an adult.

“My statment is that the allegation is not based on fact and should be discredited and ignored by all who read it [sic].”

Mexico said Thursday that more than 30,000 people have been killed in drug violence since President Felipe Calderon launched a crackdown against cartels in late 2006.

The government said the violent La Familia cartel in western Mexico has been "systematically weakened" by recent arrests and deaths of leading members of the gang.

Attorney General Arturo Chavez Chavez told reporters that about 12,500 people were killed between January and November, compared to 9,600 for all of 2009. That was an increase from the last official report of deaths in the drug war, in August, when the country's intelligence agency director said 28,000 had died.

In a joint statement later Thursday, Chavez Chavez's office, the army, federal police and navy said the La Familia cartel was reeling from the recent deaths or arrests of some of it leaders. It said the cartel had begun to pursue false propaganda campaigns depicting itself as a protector of inhabitants of the western state of Michoacan.

A California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) employee who allegedly wrote a letter to a transgender woman and condemned her to hell has resigned, officials said Thursday.

The employee, who worked for the DMV for two years, resigned Wednesday and will not receive benefits or unemployment, according to department spokesman Mike Marando.

"This in no way diminishes the severity of the situation," Marando said, adding officials believe the DMV employee's behavior was an isolated matter.

The attorney for the transgender woman said the employee should have been fired, instead of being allowed to resign.

Amber Yust told HLN's Jane Velez-Mitchell on Wednesday night that she got the letter after she went to a San Francisco DMV office in October and successfully changed her name from David to Amber and updated the gender on her license.

According to Yust and her attorney, the DMV employee used her confidential personal information to send the letter.

"I have learned that the reason for the vast majority of gender change operations is the client's homosexual orientation," the letter dated October 22 states. "The homosexual act is an abomination that leads to hell."

Yust said she also got a pamphlet from a church, which she said contained offensive material directed at her sexual orientation and gender.

The DMV employee had been placed on administrative leave with pay pending an investigation after Yust came forward, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

George Valverde, director of the DMV, in a statement Thursday said the employee "acted well outside the course and scope of his duties. We recognized this was unacceptable and wholly unauthorized behavior by this former employee."

HARARE – A Harare court on Thursday acquitted a worker for the country’s homosexual the Gays and Lesbians of Zimbabwe (GALZ) on charges of possessing pornographic material.

The country’s Censorship and Entertainment Control Act prohibits the possession or distribution of pornographic material including pictures videos or magazines.

Dismissing the charges, Magistrate Ndirowei said the state had failed to prove that two pornographic pictures seized by the police during raid of the GALZ offices in May – where Chademana works as receptionist – where in her possession.

The pictures were seized from a cabinet at the reception area of the Harare offices of the GALZ, the only representative body for homosexual people in mainly conservative Zimbabwe.

“It was clear that the cabinet was accessible to all staff (at GALZ) and therefore difficult for the court to conclude (that Chademana was in possession of the photos),” Ndorowei ruled.

The prosecution of Chademana and another GLAZ worker Ignatius Muhambi, who was acquitted in July, was condemned local and international human rights groups, many who saw it as an attempt by law enforcement agencies controlled by President Robert Mugabe to persecute Zimbabwe’s homosexual community.

Mugabe is known for his dislike for gay and lesbian people who he has described as “worse than dogs and pigs”.

A man has been arrested after he allegedly chopped off the penis of his teenage daughter’s boyfriend with a bread knife.

The Daily Voice reports that the father allegedly decided to take matters into his own hands after police said they couldn’t do anything to keep the 57-year-old man away from his 17-year-old.

German police said the dad and his friends then went to the victim’s home and castrated him. They took his severed testicles with them.

Police rushed to the man’s house and saved his life.

The father says he will plead guilty when he goes on trial for attempted murder next year.

Creators of the Manhattan Declaration and the related iPhone app are blaming Apple CEO Steve Jobs of censoring them because he does not support their antiabortion and antigay stances.

The National Organization for Marriage, whose leaders contributed to the Manhattan Declaration document in 2009, released a video Thursday condemning the CEO, but Apple will not comment further on the matter, according to MSNBC. The video compares the mainstream release of the Apple computer in 1984 — launched with its infamous Super Bowl ad showing the innovation and uniqueness of the brand — to "Big Brother"-type machines. In Thursday's video NOM says the Apple CEO has gone from "iconic to ironic" for approving only apps that he agrees with, like a Planned Parenthood app, and others that support marriage equality.

The app by the Manhattan Declaration promoted a document that backs pro-Christian causes but included a quiz that many found offensive, leading the company to pull the app from its store. The quiz asked whether the user supports marriage equality or abortion and then gave a score based on the "right" number of answers.

My statements were based, in part, on objective facts that had been posted and are still posted on the Internet:

I pointed out the obvious: that if elected, Kirk would be subjected to pressure and blackmail from homosexual activists because of Kirk’s closeted homosexual lifestyle.

Not surprisingly, the Chicago media attacked me instead of Kirk. I had no problem with Kirk being gay; but I did have a problem with his closeted lifestyle. The mainstream media are totally under the control of gay sympathizers.

Kirk was eventually outed by gay activists last June after he voted against repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” earlier this year. After being exposed as a homosexual by the homosexual community, Kirk recruited his former wife to promise that Kirk would vote “for” repeal of DADT if he was elected to the senate.

Increased exposure to the toxic chemical mercury can affect sexual preference in certain species of birds -- inducing homosexuality, a new study has revealed.

Peter Frederick, an ecologist from the University of Florida, and Nilmini Jayasena from the University of Peradeniya in Sri Lanka found that male American white ibises that consumed methylmercury, the most toxic and easily digested form of mercury found in the environment, were more likely to pair with other males. In wild ibis populations with no mercury exposure, same-sex pairing is non-existent.

"We knew that mercury was likely to affect reproductive hormones from an earlier study," Frederick told FoxNews.com, "so we suspected some aspect of reproduction would be affected, like whether the birds came into reproductive condition or whether they were too aggressive to pair."

"We had no clue that mate choice might be involved," he added.

NEW PORT RICHEY, Florida -- A neo-Nazi in Pasco County has been found guilty on charges of first degree murder and attempted murder.

Prosecutors say John Ditullio broke into a mobile home in 2006 and fatally stabbed 17-year-old Kristofer King because he was gay, and injured Patricia Wells because she was friends with a black man.

Leaving the courthouse Wednesday night, King's mother told 10 News, "It was a long time coming."

Ditullio has a large swastika, barbed wire and a vulgarity tattooed on his face and neck. The judge ruled the tattoos could sway a jury's opinion and ordered them covered.

The state paid a cosmetologist up to $150 a day during Ditullio's trial to cover the tattoos.

Jimmy Carter is ready for a gay president — and he thinks America could stand behind one too.

Three Des Moines-area attorneys believe the retention vote that ousted three Iowa Supreme Court justices was illegal because the Iowa Constitution mandates the votes for judges be "on a separate ballot."

They have filed suit to keep the three justices, who participated in last year's unanimous ruling that legalized same-sex marriage, from being tossed off the bench.

The ballot used Nov. 2 included the names of the justices standing for retention on the back of a single sheet, "combined with other elections, nonpartisan offices, Constitutional questions and public measures," the lawsuit says.

The U.S. House of Representatives approved a stand-alone bill to repeal the 17-year-old law barring lesbian and gay services members from serving openly in the military by a vote of 250-175.

Rep. Patrick Murphy, who championed the repeal effort, said those who oppose repeal had exhausted “every excuse under the sun.”

“Enough!” Murphy said from the House floor. “Our troops are the best of the best and they deserve a Congress that puts their safety and their collective national security over rigid partisan interests and a closed-minded ideology.”

The Food and Drug Administration is warning men who take Man Up Now capsules to stop taking them immediately. The supplement contains a variation of an active ingredient found in Viagra that can lower blood pressure to dangerous levels, the agency says. It is marketed as an "herbal" and "all natural" sexual enhancement dietary supplements.

The FDA issued the warning after chemists analyzed Man Up Now and found it contains sulfoaildenafil, a chemical similar to sildenafil, the active ingredient in Viagra. When mixed with prescription drugs, such as nitroglycerin, the FDA says, Man Up Now can cause blood pressure to drop and that can lead to dizziness or light-headedness.

A former stadium manager for the Highline School District was charged Monday with forgery and four counts of practicing medicine without a license for allegedly performing physical exams and administering injections he wasn't qualified to do.

Jayson W. Boehm was dismissed by the school district last spring, and the state Department of Health issued an emergency suspension of his health-care-provider license a month later, accusing Boehm of performing physical exams on 26 male students, asking them to strip and touching their genitals. In addition to stadium manager, he performed the duties of an athletic trainer.

In March, an adult boxer who trains and competes with the White Center Police Athletic League suffered a bloody nose in a bout; he was sent to Boehm before and after his match and told investigators that both times, Boehm had the boxer lower his shorts and "Boehm checked his penis and testicles," charging papers say.

Though the boxer hadn't received any below-the-belt hits, Boehm swabbed the man's penis for blood, the papers say.

A student football player, who suffered a concussion in a 2009 game, was told by his coach to see Boehm before returning to practice, charging papers say. The player said "the exam consisted of Boehm telling him to lower his pants and underwear, then Boehm examined his testicles," the papers say.

Boehm "did not examine any other parts of his body," and a few days later Boehm again examined the boy's testicles, according to charging documents.

State Senator Mark Leno, who represents parts of the North Bay and San Francisco, wants to require that California's public schools teach students about the history of homosexuals. The openly gay lawmaker says most textbooks don't include information about the gay community and that perpetuates negative stereotypes that can lead to bullying of homosexual students at school. The measure is similar to one passed by state lawmakers in 2006 but was vetoed by Governor Schwarzenegger.

I have a story about Larry King. I am not sure i told this before, but a couple of years ago i was at Robert Shapiro's yearly charity event which benefits the  foundation he created in honor of his son who died of a drug overdose. Well i was sitting at a table kinda near the buffet. Larry came over to me and asked if it was a buffet and did we have to serve ourselves. I had to direct him to the food. But it was the way that he asked that amused me. That gravely older man voice that comes across like "Hey, where is the food, I gotta eat now" no patience.

Police have released an image of a man who helped to hunt down and viciously attack two gay men in Melbourne's inner north in October.

The offender was a member of a four-man gang that went to Collingwood on Sunday October 10 with the intention of attacking homosexuals, said Detective Senior Constable Matt Archer.

He said a 21-year-old and 23-year-old were walking along Gipps Street when they were approached by the thugs near Rupert Street about 2.15am.

''During an interview with another suspect he disclosed that they went to the Collingwood area because they knew it was an area that had a lot of gay-friendly bars,'' said Detective Senior Constable Matt Archer.

''(He said) they went there with the intent to assault and to assault homosexuals.''

Before being set upon, the two victims were asked for directions by the group.

Police said the assailants then ''kicked and punched the victims a number of times before stealing their wallets and mobile phones''.

Police said both men had teeth knocked out in the attack. One of the men had teeth pushed into the roof of his mouth during the assault, while the other lost unconscious for a short time.
