Hotness...

Since Daniel Puder's great statement on bullying, here is a little honor to his hotness...

Daniel Puder Will Give Bullies The Beat Down...

Love this! TMZ caught up with MMA fighter, Daiel Puder and asked him about all the gay bullying going on. I love his response.

The issue of bullying has clearly made an impact on the former WWE star ... who recently blogged, "There is an issue with our society when gay young kids are getting bullied to the point they are killing themselves."

But after scarfing down a burger at Stout in L.A. last night -- protein-style, obviously -- Puder hatched a new plan ... telling us, "Anybody that's getting bullied in the whole U.S. can shoot me an email at [email protected]"

He adds,"You email me, I'll go fly to your school ... and we'll go talk to the bullies for you."

Gang Attacks Teen Recruit And 2 Others, Sodomizes Him With Plunger...

Wtf is going on in this country? I have not seen gays under attack like this in years! I am blaming all those anti-gay politicians, preachers, and anyone or group that promotes homophobia. These victims and i am talking of both gay bashing's and suicides have their blood all over you hands. You have created this mess. These suicides and attacks are YOUR fault. This is ridiculous!

Members of a street gang discovered one of their recruits was gay, so they attacked the teen, brutally beating and torturing him and two other people in gruesome assaults, police said Friday.

Seven of the suspects were arrested and being held pending arraignment on charges of robbery, sodomy, menacing and assault as hate crimes. Two others were being sought.

The attack came amid heightened attention to anti-gay bullying following a string of suicides attributed to it last month around the country.

Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said the first of the four assaults in the most recent case occurred at about 3:30 a.m. Sunday.

The first victim, a 17-year-old potential recuit for the “Latin King Goonies” street gang, was grabbed by gang members and taken to an empty Bronx apartment they used for parties and sex, police said. The teen was stripped, beaten and sodomized with a wooden plunger handle, police said.

Angels Forever...Please Check It Out...

This month as you know, 5 gay teens have committed suicide because of bullying. It is mind boggling that this stuff is happening in 2010. In any event, in the wake of these deaths, I created a page for what I call our Angels. It is a small tribute to Asher Brown, Seth Walsh, Billy Lucas, Raymond Chase and Tyler Clementi. I only hope I do not have to add to this list...

Happy Friday!!!

Have a great weekend!!!

Annie Coulter May Be in Hot Water In Conn....

A Connecticut elections commission will soon decide whether conservative pundit Ann Coulter will face felony charges over allegations of voter fraud in the 2002 and 2004 elections.

The State Elections Enforcement Commission will vote next week on whether to pursue charges against Coulter based on a complaint made by Daniel Borchers, an activist with Citizens for Principled Conservatism.

In his complaint Borchers cited a New York Daily News article alleging Coulter voted illegally in Connecticut in the 2002 and 2004 elections by submitting an absentee ballot from her home in New York."

Wouldn't this be fun!

Southern Baptist Says Yoga Is No Way To God...

A Southern Baptist leader who is calling for Christians to avoid yoga and its spiritual attachments is getting plenty of pushback from enthusiasts who defend the ancient practice.

Southern Baptist Seminary President Albert Mohler says the stretching and meditative discipline derived from Eastern religions is not a Christian pathway to God.

Mohler said he objects to 'the idea that the body is a vehicle for reaching consciousness with the divine.'

'That's just not Christianity,' Mohler told The Associated Press."

My god people are crazy! Lols. Figures this would come from a southern baptist...All i can say is, if Mohler thinks regular Yoga is not the way to God, can't imagine what he would think of the nude yoga classes i have taken...Weeeee.

Promises On DADT Repeal Again....

A White House spokesperson told The Advocate Wednesday evening that administration officials “expect the Senate to act” on repeal of “don’t ask, don’t tell” when they return from the midterm recess for the final days of the 111th Congress."

Activist Seth Persily Starts Google War With Georgia Republican Candidate Nathan Deal...

Atlanta, GA. Congressman Nathan Deal has never been considered particularly sympathetic to the cause of gay and lesbian rights. Rated 0% by the Human Rights Campaign and 7% by the American Civil Liberties Union, the Republican candidate for Governor has taken positions in favor of banning gay marriage and gay adoptions, and is against prohibiting job discrimination based on sexual orientation. This August, however, Nathan Deal took his positions one step further, angering gay rights activists and igniting a “Google War” that is having a significant impact on the race for Georgia Governor.

In the weeks leading up to the Republican Primary vote in Georgia, the Nathan Deal for Governor campaign targeted ‘Youth Pride’, an Atlanta charity dedicated to preventing suicide among gay teens. In television commercials which aired throughout the state, Nathan Deal attacked his Republican opponent, Karen Handel, for giving taxpayer dollars to the organization, which “did outreach to gay and ‘questioning’ kids as young as 13.” The commercials, which caused outrage among the gay and lesbian community and were even criticized by Jon Stewart on “The Daily Show” nevertheless played well to many Georgia voters and was considered a significant component in winning Deal the Republican Primary in Georgia.

But for one Atlanta resident and search optimization specialist, Nathan Deal’s anti-gay rhetoric hit especially close to home. A gay father of two, Seth Persily volunteers on the Board of Directors for Youth Pride, and is also the Vice President of Penn Multimedia, specializing in search engine optimization. After seeing the anti-gay commercials, Persily decided to use his SEO expertise to fight back. The result has been a “Google War” between Persily’s company, Penn Multimedia, and the Nathan Deal for Governor campaign, which the Atlanta-Journal Constitution stated “may be the first campaign of its kind, one that opens an entire new field of worry for political candidates.”

Chris Armstrong Speaks...

Chris Armstrong, the first openly gay student body president at the University of Michigan, breaks his silence about being bullied online and publicly by Michigan assistant attorney general Crazy Ass, Andrew Shirvell.

Armstrong appeared on CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360, where he described his experience as intensely personal but said, “Given what’s happened in the past week, and given the suicides that have happened in the past few weeks, it’s hard not to say something.”"

IN Commissioner Arrested for Lewd Acts In a Mens Room...

Here we go again! You know i love this shitz. Nothing like a conservative Republican Married man going down, and i mean in the bad way. Although, i will say this, if he is just a closeted man then i feel bad for him. Because you know what that struggle can be like. However if he is one of those hypocritical conservative republicans i.e. Larry Craig, George Rekkers, Roy Ahsburn, Mark Foley, I gotta stop there, this list will just go on ;) then it's a different story...

Indiana motor vehicles commissioner Andrew Miller, a member of Governor Mitch Daniels’ Republican administration, was arrested Wednesday afternoon on a public indecency charge for soliciting sex from an undercover police officer in a men’s public restroom in downtown Indianapolis.

“Following complaints of lewd behavior, two plain clothes police officers were conducting an investigation at the men's public restroom at Claypool Court, a place with a notorious reputation for illegal sexual activity,' said the news station.

The police report said that Miller, 40, exposed himself and twice asked the officer if he wanted to “touch it.” He also asked whether the police officer was married, and after being told yes, told the officer it would “be OK,” and that he was married, too.

Miller, who has three children, faces up to 60 days in jail and a $500 fine for the Class C misdemeanor, according to WTHR-TV."

Stonewall Gay Basher Has "Nothing To Apologize For"

Matthew Francis, one of two defendants accused of beating Benjamin Carver inside the historic Stonewall Inn in New York City over the weekend said that he does not hate gay people because, after all, his sister is a “full-blown lesbian.”

According to the New York Daily News, Francis made the comments Wednesday in an interview from his jail cell in Manhattan, where he also said he had no plans to apologize for the attack.

'I'm not going to say sorry, because I don't know what I should be sorry for,' he said.

'I don't hate gay people,' he said. 'I don't hate anybody.'"

Um, if you are trying to fight these charges, statements like this won't help...

Idiots David Barton & Rick Green Want Government Regulated Homosexuality...

My, my ,my. The ignorace and stupidity of bible beating conservative dumb asses never seem to amaze me. David Barf Barton and Rick Pee Green, are part of an organization called Wallbuilders. Their website describe them as: "An organization dedicated to presenting America's forgotten history and heroes, with an emphasis on the moral, religious, and constitutional foundation on which America was built – a foundation which, in recent years, has been seriously attacked and undermined." I'm sure....

Under their "Helpful Links" category, is a list of who's who in the fight against homosexuality. Let me give you just a taste: Focus On the Family, Family Research Council, American Family Association, Pacific Justice Institute and the Alliance Defense Fund.

So you can imagine where this is leading to. On their radio show the other day Barton and Green, focused on why Homosexuality should be regulated by the government. The entire segment sounds like you are listening to a skit on SNL. Unfortunately however you are not. But what i find even more humorous is that this two dumb asses think they are being serious. The conversation is so idiotic and quite frankly embarrassing for them its funny. Go take a gander for yourself at the link below. I checked out their website and i basically told you all you need to know about them above, but for humor sake, go to the about tab on the site and click on speakers bios. Look at the photos, one in particular caught my eye... Anyone?? ;)

Back in August, Ken Hutcherston wrote a column for WorldNetDaily in which he argued that the behavior of gays ought to be regulated by the government for health reasons:

Legislators around the country are considering banning sugar and fatty foods in schools, removing salt and butter from restaurants and want to control what temperature you can have in your own homes, because they fear the potential of health problems. Perhaps they should consider banning the promotion of a lifestyle that the Centers For Disease Control has determined actually causes HIV/AIDS. On the Day of Silence, an entire school day is set aside to ensure every young, impressionable student is exposed to homosexuality. Does this really make sense to you?

The column apparently impressed David Barton and Rick Green of Wallbuilders enough to make Hutcherson and his column the focus of their radio program today during which the two discussed the need to have the government to regulate homosexual conduct while warning that failure to do so would lead to the destruction of the United States within three generations:"

DeMint Continues To Defend His Hate...

A couple of days ago, i posted about Sen. Jim DeMint, saying that he believes gay people and unmarried women should not be allowed to teach in the class room. Well now after gay groups and women's groups have called for him to apologize, he is not backing down. Here is the statement released by DIM-Mints office:

Sen. Jim DeMint isn’t caving to demands that he apologize for saying sexually active single women and gay people shouldn't be allowed to teach. Instead, five days after making the remarks, he’s defending his opinion.

DeMint’s communications director issued the following statement: 'Sen. DeMint believes that hiring decisions at local schools are a local school board issue, not a federal issue. He was making a point about how the media attacks people for holding a moral opinion.'"

NOM Get's Another Bitch Slap Over Use Of Photo Without Permission...

NOM has been getting beat down regularly with legal letters from artist and companies telling them not to use there content or songs. The latest is photographer Marc Nozell. The hate group used a photo of his in their evil campaign against NH Governor John Lynch...

That's because in that ad knocking New Hampshire's governor, NOM/CPR took it upon themselves to lift a Creative Commons licensed photo taken by local photographer Marc Nozell, without first obtaining Mr. Nozell's permission (which he clearly requests on his Flickr site). The photog says of the unsolicited usage:

I’m an amateur photographer in New Hampshire and have taken a number of photos of various state and national politicians, some of which I license under a Creative Commons (CC) license. The CC license is a simple way to allow other people to use my work at no fee in exchange for following certain conditions.

Fewer than half of Americans oppose gay marriage...

Fewer than half of Americans oppose legalized same-sex marriage, according to a new poll on the issue released Wednesday, with significant shifts in public opinion on the issue just since last year.

More Americans continue to oppose gay marriage than support it, according to the poll, which was released Wednesday by the Pew Research Center. But for the first time since Pew starting asking about same sex marriage 15 years ago, fewer than half of those polled said they oppose legalizing the institution."

The poll -- which combines two surveys conducted from July to September of this year -- found that 42 percent of Americans favor same-sex marriage, while 48 percent oppose it.

In polls conducted in 2009, 37 percent favored gay marriage while 54 percent were opposed, Pew said.

Faggie Gallagher and Brian Bottom Brown, better keep your eyes on the polls for gay marriage, because they are changing quick! Maybe it's time you look to fight a cause you can truly be proud of and put that $10 million you have raised to fight gay marriage to something like, oh, lets see, families who have lost their homes and jobs, that are suffering during the economic mess, injured soldiers returning from war, children's education, battered women's shelters, feeding the poor. I did not know i could think of so many good causes, did you?

Another Gay Teen Suicide???

I was going to say lets hope not, but either way this teenager committed suicide so the reason does not really matter...here is the story:

Another teen who may have been gay has taken his own life — and this time he was from Utah, where a Mormon apostle just a few days ago called same-sex attraction “unnatural” and “impure” and said it can be changed.

We’ve long been saying on this blog that those in positions of power who spew homophobia have the blood of gay teen suicide victims on their hands — and we can only hope the reality of this will finally take hold in the mainstream.

PrideInUtah.com reports that 18-year-old Alec Henriksen, a Utah native who was a student at Earlham College in Indiana, was found dead on Sept. 30:

Alec Henriksen was a brilliant young computer programmer. And while suicide is always a terrible idea, I want to use his death as a call-to-action for anyone who cares for these young people. Please, help them. Love them for who they are. Put them in touch with the Trevor Project if possible.

PrideInUtah.com adds that the website from which it obtained the information about Henriksen’s suicide — and presumably about his sexual orientation — has since been taken down."

Exodus International Pulls Out Of Anti-Gay Event...

A national Christian organization will stop sponsoring an annual event that encourages school students to 'counter the promotion of homosexual behavior' because the event has become too divisive and confrontational, the group's president told CNN on Wednesday.

'All the recent attention to bullying helped us realize that we need to equip kids to live out biblical tolerance and grace while treating their neighbors as they'd like to be treated, whether they agree with them or not,' said Alan Chambers, President of Exodus International, the group that sponsored the event this year.

Called the Day of Truth, the annual April event has been pushed by influential conservative Christian groups as a way to counter to the annual Day of Silence, an event promoted by gay rights advocates to highlight threats against lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender students.

The Day of Truth, held on the same day as the Day of Silence, 'was established to counter the promotion of homosexual behavior and to express an opposing viewpoint from a Christian perspective,' according to a manual for this year's event published by Exodus International."

Well this is a great thing, however as you know Exodus is a group that believes gays can be cured and turned straight. In recent years people have come to see that these groups ( NOM & Focus On The Family included) are promoting nothing but harm and detriment to gay people struggling with coming out. Also the majority of people today believe a person is born gay, so these groups are seen as radical crazies with only one agenda; Pushing "Christian" so called values.

I do not trust these bigots as far as i can throw them. They are feeling the heat from the rash of gay teen suicides this month. They don't want to look as heinous as they are. Believe me when the media coverage dies down, they will find new tricky ways to pull their shit...

Hump Day...

Straight Men Affected By Homophobia Too...

Very interesting article i just read about how homophobia affects straight men, who fear close relationships with other men because of being labeled gay.
Why? As they got closer to puberty, the boys began to use homophobic epithets – homo, queer, and especially fag – to demean each other. So they couldn’t risk bringing those labels onto themselves. “As ‘fag’ talk increases, relaxed and cuddling patterns of touch decrease,” Thorne and Luria wrote. “The tough surface of boys’ friendships is no longer like the gentle touching of girls.”Skip to next paragraph

And it’s not just physical intimacy that decreases, of course. Other scholars watched teenaged boys at the movies, where they often sat apart even if they came in together. Most of all, they avoided showing their emotions to each other. Even at a tear-jerk movie, it seems, boys aren’t supposed to cry. That’s “gay,” too.
Male affection used to be ok

It wasn’t always that way. In the nineteenth century, American men declared their love for each other in fiction, poetry, and song. And you can see it in photographs from the period, as well, which show men posing in physical embrace – sharing a chair, holding hands.

NYC Gay Man Jumps To His Death...

In the wake of all the gay teen suicides, here is another sad death...
Bryan Jacobson, a celebrity party planner famous for events including the wedding of Robert De Niro’s son, jumped to his death from his New York City apartment window in an apparent suicide Monday night.

According to the New York Post, Jacobson jumped from the 14th floor and “crashed to the ground next to a Caterpillar truck parked outside his luxury co-op building at 250 Mercer St. at around 10:45 p.m. Monday, sources said.”

Jacobson, who was 37, had tried to suffocate himself and was found with duct tape around his face, according to the Post, which reported that a suicide note was recovered. The city’s medical examiner ruled the death a suicide."

Family Defends Stonewall Gay Bashers...

Mathew Francis (Siegel/Pool)
The father of Christopher Orlando, one of two men accused of an antigay attack at the historic Stonewall Inn in New York City over the weekend, insisted his son is not a bigot, while it was revealed that codefendant Matthew Francis has a lesbian sister.

Orlando, 17, and Francis, 21, have been charged with assault as a hate crime and attempted robbery for the attack against Benjamin Carver, 34, early Sunday morning at the Stonewall Inn in the West Village, site of the 1969 riots credited with launching the modern gay civil rights movement."

"We are a working class family," said Don Orlando, according to the Daily News. "We don't hate anyone here."

"I'm not going to sugarcoat what happened," said the father from Staten Island. "It was a bar fight, but I swear on my life it's not about Gays or race or any of that. We don't care about any of that stuff in this family."

I can definitely understand a father trying to defend his son. Facing robbery with assault as a hate crime is a more severe punishment. I am sure the father is being authentic when he says they do not hate anyone. However saying it was "a bar fight" is a bit off the mark. Francis and Orlando, first asked Ben Carver the victim if he was gay? When Carver said that they were in a gay, this is what followed "Get away from me, f----t! I don't like gay people. Don't pee next to me," Francis  yelled.  He also demanded $20. When Carver refused, the pair  punched him "multiple times" in the face.

Mathew Francis sister is a lesbian and she had this to say: "If anybody ever gave me s--t about being gay, he would totally back me up, 100%"

Although, both relatives may be correct in what they are saying, the fact still remains that if these two guys walked into a gay bar, spewed homophobic slurs, tried to rob a man and then beat him. That is a hate crime...
