So the long awaited kiss from Modern Family’s gay couple happened last night. Big snore. Of course nothing could live up to the hype of it all. So the kiss, which you can watch below, took place in the background of two straight people hugging. It all comes down to not wanting to alienate their middle American audience. Grow up. I mean how old are we? “It’s being handled very carefully”, “It’s been in the works from early on”, “We don’t want to scare off people” This is as bad as the DADT repeal. In 2010, if there are people still uncomfortable about seeing two men kiss then they really need to get their heads examined for stupidity and insecurity.
