Like the GOProud d-bags, I find the Log Cabin Republicans just as loathsome. Not to mention an embarrassment to our culture. So it comes as no suprise that after weeks of holding out, the LCR finally threw their support behind Romney after an alleged secret promise made by the Romney morons, that he would support (wink wink) the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) and of course these idiots fell for it hook, line and teabagging. 

Here is their brilliant and i use that a loosely as their buttholes, explanation:

If LGBT issues are a voter’s highest or only priority, then Governor Romney may not be that voter’s choice. However, Log Cabin Republicans is an organization representing multifaceted individuals with diverse priorities. Having closely reviewed the candidate’s history and observed the campaign, we believe Governor Romney will make cutting spending and job creation his priorities, and, as his record as Governor of Massachusetts suggests, will not waste his precious time in office with legislative attacks on LGBT Americans.

We are confident that there will be no retreat from the significant gains we’ve made in recent years, most importantly on repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.” With regard to the LGBT issue most likely to reach the president’s desk and most vital to many in our community today—workplace nondiscrimination—we are persuaded that we can work with a Romney administration to achieve a desirable outcome.

Lets break this down Izzo style:

Until LGBT people have equal rights across the board i.e. marriage equality, employment and housing protections etc, LGBT issues SHOULD be the highest priority for a member of our culture when they vote. Issues such as the economy and jobs, although extremely important, will eventually turn around regardless to who is in the White House. It is just the nature of it, we have seen it in our history. However while it does, it does not deny straight people from all of the above protections. 

“will not waste his precious time in office with legislative attacks on LGBT Americans” Have the LCR been listening to Romney? I mean have they been watching the same campaign?  Romney is vocal about his anti-gay marriage stance, his support of a constitutional amendment  and signed NOM’s hate declaration to fight the passage of gay marriage…What effing planet are you douchebags on? Uranus?

“We are confident that there will be no retreat from the significant gains we’ve made in recent years” Um. you were not even confident in your decision to support him until today. A week and half before the election? Again, he supports a constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage and you are confident that there will be no “retreat” especially of DADT. And may i ask who it was that ended DADT? Romney certainly would not have done that during his presidency. 

They only thing that “persuades” the LCR is the hope that they maybe able to teabag Romney’s down low, Mormon staffers…Here is my Dear Izzo advice to the LCR; Grow up and accept that fact that Mommy and Daddy reject you because your are gay and stop the self loathing. It’s so unbecoming…
