“You know, I’m not going to talk about the specific issues.”
“I’m going to let my husband speak on issues. I’m here to really just talk about my husband and what kind of husband and father he is and, you know, those are hot-button issues that distract from what the real voting issue is going to be at this election. That, it’s going to be about the economy and jobs.”
“Distract from the real issues” Honey, i suggest you get your Mor-on head out of your ass because if you have been all around this country like you say you have and followed the news, gay marriage is a REAL issue. Need we remind you that there are several court challenges to DOMA in which the republicans i.e. John Boehner is defending because Obama would not.
Then she was asked about birth control: “So, really if you want to try to pull me off of the other messages it’s not going to work because I know because I’ve been out there.”
Then we suggest you “get out there” again because we don’t know what republican fairy tale land you have been visiting but a woman’s choice and the right to marry who you love are voting issues in the REAL world, that your husband vows to change and deny…
Here is the truth, she can’t talk about them because she will loose the argument at every angle. And she knows that.
Actually, since she is rather lame, and definitely not informed on anything, and I’m sure a fine and fawning wife for her husband, and he is the one to make decisions, and not her, who cares what she says or thinks on other than what she says: her husband’s fine qualities. I mean, why does the spouse of the man we elect get to give her opinion as if it’s some sort of unofficial policy making post. These spouses are exactly better off saying nothing; they admit they know nothing; believe. them.
