When i see stories like this, it makes me shake my head and wonder how people can be so dispicable to their own children. To let a little thing like sexuality turn them against their kid.

A week after Redditor RegBarc  told his father over the phone that he was gay, this letter showed up in the mail:

“I hope your telephone call was not to receive my blessing for the degrading of your lifestyle,” his father’s “difficult but necessary letter” begins. “I have fond memories of our times together, but that is all in the past. Don’t expect any further conversations With me. No communications at all.”

God did not intend for this unnatural lifestyle. If you choose not to attend my funeral, my friends and family will understand. Have a good birthday and good life. No present exchanges will be accepted. Goodbye, Dad.

RegBarc has not spoken to his father since the letter arrived, but says his live has gone on: “5 years on and I am still doing fine, though this letter saunters into my mind every once in a while,” RegBarc writes. “When it does, I say without hesitation: Fuck you, Dad.”

Right on!

It boggles my mind. This is your f**cking kid? Sexual orientation and God is more important to you than you own child? Even God would say this ignorant prick is wrong. If he knew anything about God he would know that he would tell him to choose his son first. Not hatred and ignorance…

Bottom line: We can’t help but feel for RegBarc so his dad is our D-bag of the day. He does not deserve a kid like this or any child for that matter. What sad little pathetic man…
