    Ah, the last bit about the Etoro people, it’s not only them — but many Polynesian and Micronesian societies require pubescent boys to give blow jobs and swallow the semen of their uncles (not just any guy, only uncles, some maternal, some paternal, some either side, some both.) Of course, Christian missionaries were appalled at the practice, and stamped it out, though I’m sure some still practice it. Meanwhile, weirdly (well, not so very much) some 4% to 5% of the guys grow up to continue the practice — um, can you say “gay”? Though in most of those societies such people are considered sage shamans and other quasi-religious and holy men, for keeping up the fertility and manhood practices of their childhood.
